  • What is the difference between the Silver, Gold and Platinum packages?

    Silver

    Silver brings you on board for the cruise. Perfect for taking in the city lights at sunset. Menu items and drinks are available a la carte.


    Gold

    Our most popular option includes a delectable four course dinner to compliment the sky line. We use fresh, locally sourced ingredients prepared on-board to create hearty and healthy dishes.


    Platinum

    You won't miss a thing at your window table. Your five-course meal includes a glass of champagne, fine cheese platter and additional appetizer choices. Finish with a cappuccino or espresso.

  • What type of entertainment is offered?

    Every public dinner cruise features our DJ/ MC who plays a variety of contemporary popular music hits for your dancing pleasure until the ship docks. Our Sunday buffet brunch cruise is complemented with live piano entertainment.

  • What is your smoking policy?

    Smoking is not allowed in the dining room areas of our ships. However, smoking is permitted on the outer decks.

  • Is the ship handicap accessible?

    Yes, alert reservations department of requests for special assistance. We want to ensure the availability of any appropriate assistance upon arrival.

  • Do I need a reservation?

    Yes, reservations are highly recommended. Guests are sometimes able to walk up and purchase tickets on the day of a cruise if space is available.

  • How far in advance should I make reservations?

    If you're planning for a large group, call us as soon as possible. A few months will make it easier to accommodate all of your preferences. Smaller parties normally book within 30 days of their planned cruise. Of course, reservations can be made right up to the day of the cruise, provided there is space available.

  • Which credit cards are accepted?

    We accept most major credit cards.

  • What should I wear?

    Our dress code is jackets or dress shirts for gentlemen and business casual attire for women. Dark or dress jeans are acceptable. Please, no t-shirts, shorts, sandals or sneakers at any time.

  • How early should I arrive for my cruise?

    Boarding begins 60 minutes prior to the cruise.

  • Will I get seasick?

    It's unlikely. The ships operate in New York Harbor, on the Hudson River and the East River, which are all very calm bodies of water. What's more, our ships are large and very stable, so in most cases, you can hardly tell that they're moving.

  • Do we pass the Statue?

    Yes. World Yacht departs from Pier 81, at West 41st street and the Hudson River. During the cruise, you will experience the dramatic views of the Manhattan skyscrapers and bridges that make the New York skyline so impressive. The highlight of the cruise is a close-up look at the majestic Statue of Liberty.

  • Can I reserve a window seat?

    Yes, for an additional fee we can guarantee a window seat.

  • How large is the yacht?

    We have 3 yachts in our fleet. The Duchess is our main yacht used for the public dinner cruise. The Duchess is 160 feet long and seats up to 350 guests for dinner. There are 2 interior dining decks which are climate controlled and 1 full exterior observation deck. The dance floor and DJ are located on our main deck.

  • Where will I be seated on the ship?

    All of our guests are seated at private tables. The size of your group will determine the number of tables you are assigned.

  • Do you still sail in the rain?

    We sail rain or shine. The dining decks are completely enclosed and are climate controlled for maximum comfort. It is common to sail in and out of rain showers during the cruise.

  • Are the prices listed inclusive of tax and gratuity?

    The prices listed do not include sales tax or gratuity unless noted. For parties of eight or more, a 15% gratuity is added.

  • Are vegetarian meals offered?

    Yes, there are vegetarian options offered on our menu. If you have any dietary needs please inform the agent when making your booking so that we can try to accommodate you.

  • Are beverage packages available?

    Yes, you may prepay for our beverage packages.

  • Do I have to pre-select a menu?

    For parties of 30 or more guests we require a pre-selection of menu options to expedite the ordering and serving process. This ensures that your entire group will be served at the same time. For parties less than 30 guests, you may select your choices from our menu at your table.

  • What is the cancellation policy?

    All sales are final. There are no refunds or credits offered once a reservation has been made. Reservations may be rescheduled up until 48 hours prior to the sailing date and are subject to rescheduling fees.

  • Is parking available?

    There is parking available on the pier at prevailing rates.

  • What happens if I miss the boat?

    The boat sails promptly at the listed sailing time. There are no refunds or credits offered for guests who miss the ship.

  • Is there a photographer on board?

    Yes, there is a onboard photographer who will take your picture without any obligation to purchase. If you choose to purchase the photo, it is presented in a souvenir frame and is a great way to remember your cruise.

  • Can I bring children on the cruise?

    Yes children are welcome onboard; however children over age 3 will require a cruise ticket.

  • Do you offer a child rate?

    We offer lower rates for children 12 and under on the Sunday brunch cruises.

    Monday-Thursday the public dinner cruises feature our DJ/MC who plays a variety of contemporary popular music hits for your dancing pleasure until the ship docks.
