Smoking is not allowed in the dining room areas of our ships. However, smoking is permitted on the outer decks. The vessels are not handicap accessible, but wheelchair accessible. We have wheelchairs on the property and our operations crew will gladly assist anyone on and off the boats. Please alert World Yacht reservations to request special assistance. We want to ensure the availability and appropriate assistance upon arrival. Boarding begins 60 minutes prior to the cruise. Note that the boat leaves exactly on the given sailing time and will not wait so please arrive on time. The boat sails promptly at the listed sailing time. There are no refunds or credits offered for guests who miss the ship. It's unlikely. The ships operate in New York Harbor, on the Hudson River and the East River, which are all very calm bodies of water. Our ships are large and very stable, so in most cases, you can hardly tell that they're moving. We sail in rain or shine. The dining decks are completely enclosed and are climate controlled for maximum comfort. It is common to sail in and out of rain showers during the cruise. Our dress code is jackets or dress shirts for gentlemen and business casual attire for women. Dark or dress jeans are acceptable. Please, no t-shirts, shorts, sandals or sneakers at any time. Parking is available on the pier.

We have 3 yachts in our fleet. The Duchess is our main yacht used for the public dinner cruise. The Duchess is 160 feet long and seats up to 350 guests for dinner.There are 2 interior dining decks which are climate controlled and 1 full exterior deck with an outdoor lounge. The dance floor is located on the main deck. Our other 2 ships, the Princess and the Destiny are available for private events. Click here to read more about the ships.

Yes, reservations are highly recommended. Guests are able to walk up and purchase tickets on the day of a cruise if space is available.
If you're planning to bring a large group, call us as soon as possible or submit a form through our groups page. Longer lead time will make it easier for us to accommodate all of your preferences. Smaller parties normally book within 30 days of their planned cruise. Of course,reservations can be made right up to the day of the cruise, provided there is space available.

Yes, if available we can guarantee a window seat for an additional fee. You will be able to select this option when you reserve your tickets online. If you are purchasing your tickets over the phone ask the ticket agent about window seats. The window seats are subject to availability.
The prices listed do not include sales tax or gratuity unless noted. For parties of eight or more, a 15% gratuity is added.
You can reserve a cruise for someone else by contacting our ticket agents at 212-630-8100. You will be required to fill out a credit card authorization form authorizing usage of your card at the time of booking.
Reservations may be rescheduled up until 48 hours prior to the sailing date but are subject to rescheduling fees.

Yes, there is an on-board photographer who will take your picture without any obligation to purchase. If you choose to purchase the photo, it's presented in a souvenir frame and is a great way to remember your cruise.
All of our guests are seated at private tables. The size of your group will determine the number of tables you are assigned.

World Yacht departs from Pier 81, at West 41st street and the Hudson River.During the cruise, you will experience the dramatic views of the Manhattan skyscrapersand bridges that make the New York skyline so impressive. The highlight of the cruiseis a close-up look at the majestic Statue of Liberty. Note that the route may changefor certain special events e.g. July 4th. The cruise slips down the Hudson, around the tip of Manhattan, up the East River,under the world famous Brooklyn Bridge and far enough north for passengers to catch a glimpse of the pristine architecture of the United Nations. The ship turns around and sails to the Statue of Liberty. Then the ship heads back up the Hudson to Pier81. Other well‐known landmarks are also visible along the cruise including the World Financial Center and the beautiful Empire State and Chrysler Buildings. The food and beverage operating fee for charter cruises and certain special events cruises (e.g., on July 4 and New Year’s Eve) is a charge, not a gratuity, and is retained in its entirety by World Yacht. World Yacht’s service staff is paid substantially higher compensation for charter cruises and certain special events cruises (e.g.,onJuly 4 and New Year’s Eve) Thus, while you are free to leave a gratuity if you wish,gratuities are not required.
